I was SOOOO excited when Lola and Ernesto asked me to take their engagement pictures! They have been a part of the young adult ministry my husband and I lead at our church and we were so excited for them when they got engaged! They are planning a spring wedding and Clint and I will already be living in London so we’ll have to miss it 🙁 But I know it will be absolutely beautiful and perfect!

Ernesto and Lola actually met on Instagram through a mutual friend! She calls it a typical millennial love story 🙂 She thought he was cute so she followed him and he followed her back. The rest is history!

Ernesto proposed to Lola by having one of Lola’s good friends take her around Dallas and essentially re-create Ernesto and Lola’s first date…precious!! The last stop was The Harbor in Rockwall where Ernesto surprised Lola with a proposal at sunset! After she said YES! she realized that their family and friends were close by watching the whole thing unfold. It was the perfect ending to the sweetest proposal.

Congratulations Ernesto and Lola! We’re so excited for you!

This sweet family wanted some pictures taken in their local neighborhood…yes, this beautiful scenery is IN their neighborhood! It was SO beautiful and a photographer’s dream! We drove around for a long time looking at different locations before the shoot and I loved just getting to take in the beauty of this place! We had a fun and relaxed shoot as we let little Elenore explore and play. Enjoy these beautiful family photos!

I’ve known this sweet family since I was 13 and it’s been fun to watch as their individual families have grown over the years! It was a hot day but we had gorgeous light for their session and I loved these images! Family is so important to me and these big family sessions make me so excited for one day (far, far from now) when my siblings and I all have kids at the same time (or kids at all 😉 ) Enjoy!

My cousins-in-law are expecting their first baby and everyone is so excited to meet this sweet baby girl! And I was so excited when they asked me to do maternity pictures for them! They live a couple hours away from us so we made a weekend out of it to visit Clint’s family. The area of Texas they live in is SO beautiful. There are beautiful woods, and pine trees – it honestly looks like a different state to me. It was fun to shoot at a different location than my normal go-to places and I loved the way these turned out. Enjoy these sweet maternity pictures!

In March (yes, March!) These sweet friends (two of them are my sisters!) modeled for me at a new location I wanted to try. I don’t know how but I completely forgot to blog it which is crazy because this cactus garden was the perfect location and the pictures turned out SO beautiful! It was FREEZING that day but they were good sports and we had so much fun. Enjoy these images of these BEAUTIFUL girls, inside and out!
